Tu B'Shevat!

We had a lovely, wonderfully crafty day today as we celebrated Tu B'Shevat!  First graders planted sunflowers and decorated pots to plant them in.  Second graders planted marigolds and made beautiful trees blooming with pink blossoms.  Third and fourth grades made edible arrangements.  Fifth graders painted trees while sixth graders crafted trees from felt and beads and managed to plant a bit too!  Seventh graders made bird feeders from oranges.  The eighth and ninth graders met with subs to continue their good work in the classroom.

Upcoming Bat Mitzvah Tess has started working on her Mitzvah project and let students know that she will be collecting new and gently used books for donation.  If you have books that you would like to donate, please bring them in to TBT in the next couple of weeks!

Please enjoy these pictures from today's Tu B'Shevat activities!  (There are WAY too many pictures, but I just couldn't help myself!!!)
