We've already had a wonderful first Sunday and Wednesday at Temple Beth Tikvah Religious School (TBTRS) and we are looking forward to continuing on the same path! Third through Seventh graders have Religious School tomorrow and we hope to see all students on Sunday! Parents and community members, please join us this Sunday at 11:30 am for our weekly, community wide Tefilah service. Your active participation in Religious School events helps model a lifelong commitment to Jewish education, and our community becomes richer as we pray together.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT DROP OFF AND PICK UP FOR RELIGIOUS SCHOOL:
BUS DROP OFF: Many of our students are dropped off by Madison Public Schools buses on Wednesday afternoons. For safety reasons, we have two important reminders. 1) Please let us know if your child will regularly take the bus on Wednesday afternoons by emailing tbtrsprincipal@
templebethtikvahct.org with the subject "Bus Dropoff." 2) As students are dropped off at the base of our driveway, we ask that students are reminded to walk towards the lower parking lot and then walk up the small hill toward the deck as they arrive to ensure that the driveway is clear for vehicles.
CAR DROP OFF and PICK UP: On both Sundays and Wednesdays, cars should enter TBT via the second, back driveway (most Northern) and exit through the main driveway (Southern, closer to I-95) to avoid two way traffic on the main driveway and expedite the drop off and pick up process.
WEDNESDAY: On Wednesdays, Religious School begins at 3:45 and ends at 5:15. Students that arrive early for Religious School are encouraged to use the early time to eat a kosher style (No meat), peanut/tree-nut free snack, study, read or socialize with their classmates. As always, students are expected to act in a manner consistent with our goals and expectations in Religious School.
